Our Mission
J.E.M.S. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that is committed to empowering youth to respond to violence with resilience and wisdom. Our focus is to educate, motivate and cultivate a lifestyle free of violence and gun violence.
OUR VISION
To host youth development programs that provide opportunities for children and youth to participate in recreational, cultural, social and civic activities through membership in clubs and other youth groups, with a special focus on practicing non-violence, whose purpose is to help youngsters develop their potential and grow into healthy, educated, responsible and productive adults.
OUR GOALS
To reduce the number of violent encounters youth face by offsetting some challenges incurred due to their decision-making.
